Other stuff:
I'm a senior in college down here in Southern CA, though I'm a Northern CA girl at heart. I used to read Batgirl comics when I was a kid, but I didn't really get into comics until much later. I did, however, absolutely love Batman: The Animated Series (followed by Batman Beyond and Justice League), and just the character of Batman in general. So after devouring the DCAU, I needed more. I picked up Hush, Dark Victory, the Cataclysm/No Man's Land arc, and got even more into the Bat-verse. Then I discovered slash. The amazing, imaginative stories and queer readings of Batman made everything come full circle for me and I've been hooked ever since. I mean, slash made me actually like Superman, who I'd previously written off and just couldn't get into.
Aside from comics, I'm also a big music geek. I love indie rock, but also electronica, and older R&B and soul. I play a couple instruments, sing, and play in a band. I love TV, especially cartoons and stuff like Arrested Development and the Office. I'm passionate about LGBT/queer issues.
I'd love to make friends with some other DC slashers, so feel free to add me if you like my fic, or we have things in common, etc...
